Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) program has been established at IALFM to provide temporary emergency financial assistance to our deserving community members in their crucial times of need and is sustained thru the Zakat, Sadaqa & Zakat al-Fitr (‘Fitra’ during Ramadan) donations from people within our community. The program is run by a committee of volunteers from our community, who have instituted an application and verification process to maintain required Islamic standards in tune with local laws and principles followed by other similar Islamic charity 501(c)(3) organizations in the larger DFW metropolitan area.

This is a prime example of members of community stepping up to help other members in their time of need to enable them to hopefully play a productive role in future upbringing of our community.

How to apply?

In order to apply for financial assistance thru IALFM’s ERF Program, please fill out the online application form that is linked below and submit it for processing. We do not use any paper-based application, so there is nothing to print and fill out.

Complete the form and then submit it for processing. Please provide required supporting documents with your application, especially last three months of your bank account statement.

Note: We take a 3 to 5 business days to process your application and provide a response to you via email or at your provided phone number. If you don’t get a response after a week of submitting your application, please contact us for an update via email, see our email address below.

Important: Applicants need to be legal permanent residents (Citizen, Green Card Holders, etc.) of US to be considered for assistance. We do not provide assistance with any payments that include interest, like Mortgage, Car Lease, etc. We also do not assist with tuition fee payments. You may reach out to another organization (A Continuous Charity Foundation), that provides such assistance to US residents.
