Position Overview
IALFM is seeking committed, qualified full‑time Male and Female Hifz Instructors and Program Leads to join its Hifz & Tarbiyah Program. The role combines structured Qur’an memorization with intentional Islamic character development, discipline, and spiritual growth in a nurturing, focused environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Hifz Instruction & Student Development

  • Lead daily Hifz instruction including new memorization, revision, and long‑term murājaʿah
  • Ensure strong retention, fluency, accuracy, and correct Tajwīd
  • Monitor progress, identify learning gaps, and adapt instruction as needed
  • Maintain a disciplined, focused, and positive classroom environment

Tarbiyah & Islamic Studies

  • Implement Tarbiyah curriculum with emphasis on akhlaq, discipline, and responsibility
  • Teach foundational Islamic studies appropriate for Tahfiz students, including Seerah, adab, and basic fiqh
  • Model and reinforce Islamic manners within the classroom and masjid

Leadership, Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Mentor teachers, assistants, and approved volunteers
  • Support curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and student outcomes
  • Participate in assessments, placements, and program events
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and administration
  • Participate in a 360‑degree feedback and continuous improvement process

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Completed Hifz with strong retention and sound Tajwīd
  • Strong mastery of theoretical and applied Tajwīd
  • Experience teaching Hifz or working in structured educational settings
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
  • Patient, compassionate, and motivating teaching style
  • Ability to communicate clearly with parents and leadership
  • Commitment to long‑term professional growth

Work Schedule & Reporting

Full‑time, weekday schedule aligned with the Tahfiz program calendar. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for special programs or events.

This position reports to the Religious Director and Board of Directors.

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 annually
  • Compensation based on experience and ability to teach young children
  • Benefits include medical coverage and paid time off
